Data Deletion

This page explains how to have data deleted at FAMMRO, including data from WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and other connected platforms.More on processing is in the Privacy Policy.

1You wrote to a shop

If you wrote to a business that uses FAMMRO, for example via the chat widget, WhatsApp or Instagram, that business is responsible for your data.Please send your request to the business first.It can delete your conversations and contact details in FAMMRO.

You can also write to us directly.We then forward your request to the business and help it with the deletion.Please tell us:

  • the name of the shop or business
  • the channel you used to write
  • your name, phone number or profile on that channel, and roughly when you wrote

2You are a FAMMRO customer

In the console you can yourself:

  • delete individual conversations, contacts and leads
  • delete knowledge base content and uploaded files
  • disconnect channels, inboxes and shops, which removes access credentials and stops new messages from arriving
  • remove team members
  • delete your account under Settings

3Request by email

Write to support@fammro.com with the subject “Data deletion” and state which data is concerned.We confirm receipt and complete the request within one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR).To prevent abuse we may ask for proof that the data belongs to you.

4What we delete

  • conversations, messages, contacts, leads and files
  • access credentials for Meta and other connected platforms
  • knowledge base content
  • your account and your team's profiles

Data we must retain by law, in particular invoices, is restricted and deleted when the retention period ends.Backups are overwritten in the regular cycle.Data held directly by Meta, your shop system or another platform must be deleted there.

5Revoking Meta permissions

You can remove FAMMRO at any time in the settings of your Facebook or Instagram account under Apps and Websites, or in Meta Business Manager.We then receive no new data through this connection.We delete data already stored as described above as soon as you or the business requests it.
